Workout Structure

5 Min Ab Workout: The Five Ab Exercises
Plank Up-Downs
These are like regular planks, but instead of holding the planks, you will push up on each arm alternating turns. You will end up in the push-up position and then return to the plank position.
Russian Twists
You will sit on the floor with your knees bent and feet flat. Lean back slightly, keeping your back straight. Lift your feet off the ground if possible. Twist your torso to the right, then to the left, moving your hands from side to side. This targets your obliques and upper abs.
Leg Raises
Lie on your back with your legs straight. Keep your lower back pressed into the floor as you lift your legs up to a 90-degree angle and then lower them back down. This exercise focuses on your lower abs and hip flexors.
Superman Hold
Lie face down with arms extended overhead. Simultaneously lift your arms, legs, and chest off the ground, engaging your lower back and glutes. Hold for a few seconds, then lower back down. Repeat for the duration of the set.
Mountain Climbers
You will begin in the push-up position. Alternately, drive your knees towards your chest as if running in place. This exercise is highly beneficial because it works your entire core and boosts cardio.
